Mr. Overton has done a tremendous job in helping me to set up a backup standby generator at my home. The generator is connected to the main electrical outlet with its own circuit breaker meant to be turned off until the backup generator electricity is needed. The great thing about him was that he was available to follow up for example. He helped me to install a soft starter because in contrast to what I expected, the generator was unable to power, my AC and the soft starter helped to overcome that. Additionally the generator stopped working by itself. Due to some flawed construction, which was fixed at a local repair shop contracted with Westinghouse under warranty but since I don’t have a truck, Damon. was willing to help me transport the generator back-and-forth with the repair shop. Once we brought it back he hooked it up and demonstrated to me that the generator is working and that it transferred electricity to our main and that with the addition of soft starter, the AC was started by the generator, and then we added the rest of the load in other words the whole house was running on the generator 10,000 watts including the air conditioner, which is the way I would have wanted it and I’m very happy that I have availed the work of OPA electrical and the take-home message here is that he is dependable, reliable and responsible. The charges were fair and his support is priceless.
