From the first day I brough Bambi home from the shelter, she was not a fun dog to walk. She would go crazy if we saw another dog while walking, so I began to avoid other dogs whenever possible. But after five years of that and a few failed attempts with other trainers (who labeled her with "dog aggression" or "barrier frustration"), one day she got off leash and sent a dog to the emergency vet. That's when we met Kris. Despite her history, Kris knew just within minutes after meeting Bambi that it was a socialization issue, not aggression. After just a few hours with Kris, Bambi had made great strides, and after just a few days she was playing at the off leash dog park! Kris understands dogs - from pack dynamics to individual temperament - unlike any trainer I've worked with. He has a calm, confident, and positive training style that relies on the reinforcement of good behavior instead of treats or punishment. He has transformed Bambi into a differnt dog, and I know that there isn't a dog (or owner) out there he can't help.

My dog needed to be trained as a mobility service animal. I found Kris quite by chance, at my vet's office. It turned out to be a great match for us. He is very experienced and talented. He trained my dog in such a timely and effective way, that I didn't think was possible. Kris went above and beyond my expectations as a trainer. He has been a tremendous help in training my dog to be an effective tool for me to be an independent individual, and function on my own and get around without anyone's help. I recommend Kris to anyone how needs to train their dog as service animals.
