The concept of Yomakeup is to ignite and magnify beauty from the inside-out. I offer onsite makeup and yoga for the day of your wedding or event. I also have a team of additional makeup artists for larger parties, and hair stylists. YOGA;
An hour long vinyasa yoga flow is sequenced to center, awaken and refresh you on your wedding day. Yoga utilizes breath, movement and community to create presence, support and an inner glow....an outer glow too!

Jessika was super helpful and knowledgeable! She made me feel comfortable and was an excellent teacher. I would/will absolutely use her again and recommend her. The makeup techniques she used and taught me were easy and light. I'm so glad she helped me shop for makeup! I always feel like I'm in the gauntlet but she knew exactly how to work it. Simply put-- hire Jessika! She is absolutely awesome and hit all my needs (professionalism, punctuality, value, and high-quality work). Also, she was so responsive and flexible; I even had an 11th-hour venue change for makeup, and she was still on-time and ready to rock. She made getting ready fun, did wonderful makeup (see photo), and we had a blast! I highly recommend working with Jessika, you won't be disappointed!

Where do I even begin? I can't say enough about Jessika. She saved my wedding (more about that later). When I was planning my wedding, I was back and forth on whether I wanted to get my makeup professionally done or not. I've always been pretty good at doing my own make-up, so I wasn't sure if it was necessary. Who was I kidding?? Getting your makeup done professionally, especially by Jessika, is such a wonderful experience and so worth every penny! I went for the more dramatic look, Jessika made me look like a movie star. I've never felt so pretty. Let me tell you, Jessika has some magic makeup, the makeup she uses last all day! She applied my makeup at 11AM, I walked down the isle (in the rain) at 2PM in the middle of June and through all day wedding festivities it still looked like I had a fresh face of makeup late that night. Two of my bridesmaids got their makeup done and there's too lasted all day.
Not only is Jessika an amazing makeup artist, she is so sweet and talented in so many other areas. Jessika saved my wedding!!! As we were walking out the door to go to the chapel, my bouquet fell apart. My bouquet looked so bad that there was no way I could use it... Jessika kept me calm and worked a miracle! She put together a beautiful arrangement by using what we could out of my bouquet and pulling some flowers from a few center pieces! How amazing is that?
I highly recommend Jessika!

Jessika was amazing and so nice. She was there first thing in the morning and ready to go. Being the Bride that day, I think we all know how it goes. You're being pulled into a million directions but Jessika was so great working around my crazy family. I know my hairstylist was a little rough around the edges but Jessika was so professional and held her own for sure. She definitely felt like one of the girls that day. Everyone received compliments on our make up. It wasn't over the top but it stood out. All of us who got our make up done had different skin tones and Jessika handled it with ease.

Jessika is an amazing makeup artist with wonderful skills in beautiful makeup application. She did makeup for me and my mother, and we both loved it and got lots of compliments. Jessika also led me and my bridesmaids in a relaxing yoga session the morning of my ceremony, and that was one of the best choices I made for that day. Totally worth it! Rest assured, you will be taken care of and feel beautified when Jessika does your makeup and/or if you choose yoga!

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to touch base with a phone call, I'm old school like that. It's nice to connect with a human voice.
Then we would schedule a consultation/trial. I would gather your ideas and thoughts and we would create your bridal vision. Then I will do your makeup and we can make sure you are over the moon excited. During the consultation I will advise a skin care routine that will transform your skin within 60 days. (Of course it is optional and completely up to you).
We will go over optional services: yoga, hair, false lashes, lip color order, on-site touch up, etc.
At that point, I'm there for any questions/ needs that arise before your wedding day. Otherwise I will see you on the most magical day of your life!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Back in 2006 I was working toward my Associates in Fine Arts. I wanted an artistic part time job that allowed me to play with color theory and light. I found myself in the cosmetics department of Nordstrom, and I realized how much I loved working with people as part of my creative expression!
