Worse experience. He works alone and relies on his friends to bail him out when skill is required. Poor project planning, time estimation and quality assurance. He said the job would take 3-4 days. It took 6 days. He destroyed my house. He stapled drop cloths to my ceiling and walls. Showed up 2 or more hours late EVERY day. And then wanted to leave and drop off a carpenter and come back at 8pm. Covered my entire house in fine dust despite assuring me he would put up plastic and cover my belongings. I installed vinyl laminate and he left inches of the “dust” on my patio instead of sweeping it up. An

Ruben and his crew were such a pleasure to work with. I urgently needed a renovation project completed (knocking down part of a wall and some cabinets to open up the kitchen to the dining room). Ruben responded quickly on thumbtack, was quick to give me a quote, and was able to put me on his calendar quickly. His team showed up early in the morning so they could meet my deadline, communicated with me throughout the project, was flexible as the project progressed, gave great advice, and delivered a beautiful, quality end result.
