Daniel drove an hour to come check out my house. Turns out I didn’t need any foundationrepair, but he checked the whole house out for free and gave me tips on how to fix my problem (a potential plumbing issue). I rarely leave reviews for anything, but others need to know that Skillful is fantastic. They came out no mesured my house and recommended low cost interventions and didn’t try to sell me an expensive lift job. If You need somebody to look at your foundation and want somebody you can trust I couldn’t recommend skillful any more.

Terry came to take a look at my home after I started noticing cracks near windows. He informed me about the test he was going to run that checks the leveling of the home. He was honest, informative, and extremely nice! He gave me some pointers which didn’t benefit his business so he’s not after your money like some other companies! When the time comes when I have to do repairs they will be my choice!

I was very impressed with Skillful Construction. All of the guys were excellent and the work ethic was second to none. Been in this home for 13 years and they are definitely one of the best contractors I've had out for anything I can't do myself (which is not much). I have high standards and expectations, but not unreasonable. They met all of my expectations. It took MUCH longer than quoted, but we had a month and a half of almost straight rain so I can't hold that against the guys. You can't do foundation work in heavy rain... just doesn't work. They cleaned up the mess, repaired the concrete that had to be broken through (including a few sidewalk patches), and generally left the place in clean "as before" condition. Very impressed with that. I will be calling them for future work as they do more than just foundations. Thanks Terry, Daniel, Ed, and all the other guys for their exceptional effort and final result. Nice to not have a 5" drop from the front of our room to the back anymore.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer inspections and in-home estimates. We bring the necessary equipment to analyze the condition of your foundation. Pricing is based on work to be performed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We schedule an appointment with the home owner to do our inspection. We let the customer know what we have determined. Then we email to the customer our proposal and contract for them to go over and decide if we fill their needs and fit their budget. If approved we schedule a starting date to perform the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in the construction business for over 30 years and specializing in foundation repair for the past 15 years.
