I do this first and foremost because I love it, not because of monetary gain. My experience in photography is about as broad as I can have it. Engagement, family, holiday, newborn, wedding, boudoir, real estate, and livestock photography are all in my skill set. I love capturing a feeling in my photographs. It means so much more than just a smiling face.

I found Alyx when I was looking for a photographer for my blog. I currently work with her, and so far, my experience has been flawless. She is extremely professional, and a pleasure to be around. I felt very comfortable shooting with her, which is important when looking for a photographer. She's also full of great ideas, and is quite knowledgeable! My fiance and I met with Alyx to have engagement photos taken and we were thrilled with the experience. Alyx made the shoot completely comfortable and fun. She helped us pick good backgrounds and poses for our photos. We truly enjoyed the experience!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is not an exact science for me. I want to make you, the customer, happy. I will work with you to come to a reasonable price that's affordable to you and covers my costs. At the end of the day I want you to walk away with happy with your pictures and wanting to leave a review :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I have attended classes but also I am constantly watching videos on YouTube to learn more tricks to the trade.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Addicted to the rush I get when I see how good the pictures turn out. And I love making people happy!
