I provide birth mother and family location services. Recently, there has been a growing trend toward open adoptions. Notable benefits of that arrangement include obtaining relevant family history information, having knowledge of the child's health and genetic information, and allowing the child to have awareness of and pride in his or her cultural identity. My experience is primarily with Guatemala, which used to be a source of many children put up for adoption. Having the assistance of natives and native speakers facilitates things considerably (especially in overcoming issues of trust among the locals), and my contact with numerous native villagers proves advantageous in searching for, finding, and communicating with birth mothers. I also provide domestic and international adoption services. I can personally take care of Texas adoptions, and if clients are located in other states, I can refer them to an attorney in their area who can handle the adoption.
