FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not complicated at all. Once the job has been described and details gone over a material list is made.then depending upon what the job entails a labor price will be gone over.the client can then pay the building supplier for material.labor payment shall be made upon completion unless otherwise noted in contract.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I still build new houses so I'm up to date on codes as well as new materials.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working with my father as young as 7years old.my father does everything and I helped him. My great grandfather was a carpenter,he built my grandparents house. Over the course of my life my father and I added a brick patio and wall a freestanding rock fountain and finished the basement so 3 out of 4 generations had a part in creating that home(which my grandparents were forced to sell after retirement to to property taxes being based upon appraised value). Anyways I got in trouble as a teenager and my stepfather had a business building new homes and told me at the age of 16 I could go to work for him or move out. I've been building homes ever since, that was 1989.
