- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After leaving the sheriff's dept, I was asked to be the security director for a computer manufacturer in the California's Silicon Valley. From there I was security director for a county level one trauma center in Oakland, Ca, and a 2000 home HOA before moving to Texas.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Clients have needed security for weddings/receptions, birthdays, corp events, parties/celebrations, concerts, etc with guests ranging from 50-500.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First, look for a security service that has experience in the area of what the event entails. Second, read the reviews for All the events they have worked. Third, talk to the service mgr/supervisor by phone. Listen to how your questions are answered and what kind of questions do they ask. They should have several questions regarding the event and what could impact the event security (not what kind of food is being served, how many females will be there, etc).
