Introduction: Unlike many vocal coaches, I make sure that each student receives a recording of the song they have perfected so they can hear how they've improved. Though my basics will always be in the classical, I do not believe that classical is the only thing to teach, so I push to expand theirs and my horizons and teach what they want to learn along with the basics.
I love seeing the look in my students faces when they finally reach what they've been trying to achieve, knowing that I helped them get to it.

Mrs. Cortex is truly focused on the success of her students. She challenges my daughter Sara without discouraging her and Sara has grown tremendously under Mrs. Cortez's teaching in just one semester. Mrs. Cortex is extremely generous with her time and truly goes the extra mile for her students. I like that she teaches Sara how to take good care of her vocal chords too.

This vocal instructor is professional, reliable, and has more than sufficient knowledge of her craft. She not only teaches effectively, but she is a magnificent performer. How do I know this? I saw Liz's craft develope over four years. Liz helped me prepare for my senior recital and has mentored me throughout my development as a vocal performer which led me to becoming a music teacher. Whether you have a developed voice, or are just starting out. Liz's methods will take you from good to better. I know it did for me.

This is a great class. I recommend it for first timers who want to improve their skills as a singer. Great way to learn more about your voice and you abilities as a singer. Also if you like tea there is always a cup ready for you!
