I've hired Chef Derrick for an anniversary party. Chef set up a top notch tasting for us, and was very pleasant to work with. The presentation of the food through the taste was outstanding. We are looking forward to the anniversary party in May. We have no doubts Chef will provide us with top notch service and food. He was flexible with the amount of food, and type of food, easy going, friendly, affordable, professional and I would definitely hire him again in the future. I Highly recommend hiring him.

I hired Chef Derrick to cater my wedding on a boat on Lake Conroe his food was great and he and his staff did a wonderful job. Everyone at my wedding kept telling me how good the food was. He was on time and stayed the whole time making sure everything and everyone was feed and had enough to eat. I will hire him again to cater other occasions. He is a great guy and a great Chef;) I can't thank him enough. Donna and Michael

This past Christmas chef Derrick cooked for our church elders/deacons Christmas party and the food was excellent we had prime rib (excellent) ham and the best mac a roni and cheese I have ever had!! I would eat anything chef Derrick Johnson cooks!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Years ago in high school I entered a pastry contest and won! Went home that evening and told my dad I think I'm gonna be a chef instead of a engineer... Way less math I thought!
What types of customers have you worked with?
Private dinners and weddings. I love to cook for my church its my favorite thing to do.
