- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard is as follows: $4.50sf Installed for 12mm Laminate Flooring on select products. $5.99sf Installed for Engineered Hardwood Flooring on select products. $5.75sf Installed for SPC vinyl plank on select products. All price points include flooring (laminate, engineered wood or vinyl plank) and installation (labor). As a courtesy we offer furniture move, carpet removal and trash disposal at no additional cost. All of the wood, laminate and vinyl materials I provide are first quality and come with manufacturer warranties. They are also CARB Phase 2 Compliant which specifies very high standards for formaldehyde emissions in flooring products.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We setup a day and time for a free in home consultation. We bring samples of flooring options that we offer, take measurements and provide an estimate on the spot based on the scope of work the customer needs. When an agreement is reached on the desired material then we set an installation date and go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years experience in the flooring industry, mostly sales and some installation. All of the sub-contractors I work with have 10+ years experience and are very knowledgeable and skilled.
