I started in photography a little later in life and I believe that has given me the opportunity to have had life experiences and deeper understandings that affect my point of view as opposed to having formed my vision before having those experiences.
I enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories. In those stories, I try to find a connection or common ground. That helps not only make a more personal photo but a better all around experience.

Bryan Turner Photography exceeded our expectations! He truly captured our silly, wild, fun family and it was completely natural to be ourselves while photographing. We had fun, he captured it!

We weren't totally satisfied with the way the photos came out, he brought his daughter to help hold a light but it seemed like we spent more time in a pose waiting for the flash to be in the right position than we did taking different poses. Basically, you get what you pay for. He was very nice and polite the entire time though, and did fix a photo edit for me. Next time, I might just spend more money somewhere else though

Sorry to hear your experience was less than satisfactory. I always try to exceed expectations. Photography is an art so I realize that exceeding or even meeting expectations for 100% of customers is not realistic and it simply just is a fact that sometimes things will be less than perfect and not everyone will have the best experience. I made the mistake of using a new light modifier that I wasn’t as familiar with as I should have been and that was the issue with trying to get the lighting right during your session. I take full responsibility for that. My daughter holding the light had nothing to with it. Unfortunately, this was never an issue that was brought up or mentioned in any way in the last three months since your session. If you choose to go elsewhere in the future, I wish you both all the best and it was a pleasure meeting you. I genuinely enjoyed the conversation we had throughout the duration of my time with you both.
