These guys were absolutely amazing! I reached out through Thumbtack. Got a call pretty fast and I knew I was in good hands after speaking with Russell. He was very thorough and explained everything I needed to know. They came out next day and Del walked me through process of what would be happening. When the team came out, they were very professional. We were in a time crunch and they worked so hard and diligently to clean mold and fix all the issues we had. Excellent communication throughout the process!

We first contacted First Class Air & Restoration (FCA&R), in February of 2022, the reason being is that we suspected that our new house, that we had just moved into in November of 2021 had mold. We kept getting colds one right after another and my allergies were getting worse. The one who gave me a message back was FCA&R’s D’Andre Randall, he was the Sales Manager and Project Director for FCA&R. He was very polite, courteous and patient with me when I explained to what was happening to my family and I. He let us know what the steps they will do moving forward. We scheduled an appointment and inspection with D’Andre, he was punctual for our appointment polite and courteous when he arrived at our home and patient when I asked him questions about mold, what type of further inspections options was available, etc. With the information he provided, we ended up doing a more detailed inspection of our house as to find out what kind of mold was growing in our house. It was a mix of molds, one of which was black mold. The mold was due to the previous owners of our house having a water pipe burst in the walls and underground. They did not do a proper dry out of the walls and floors of our house before they sold it. So we ended up with the problem of having to have it disinfecting everything and having the walls, floors, ceiling, vents, etc. removed and replaced.
We contacted our insurance adjuster to see if we were covered with our insurance, it took awhile for our insurance to actually let us know, so nothing was done until the end of April 2022. Our insurance provided payment for my family to stay out of our house while things were being disinfected, removed and replaced. It would take about a week and half for everything to get done, a second inspection included. We were kept up to date to anything that was being done. Pictures were taken when the a/c unit was removed to show the walls that was affected by the mold, same goes for the floor, ceiling and vents. A week went by and they were ready for another inspection to make sure no mold was remaining in our house. The test results came back positive for still having mold in the house. We ended up staying at our Air BNB for almost a month because of the tests kept coming back positive for mold. By the end of May 2022, we had a final inspection and it came back negative. During the whole time D’Andre and his team kept at it and made sure our home was free of of any type of mold. They replaced and repaired the walls, floors, etc. that was taken out due to mold being present in it. They were also kind enough to help this military family out by also getting rid of our empty moving boxes, without charging extra and giving us a military discount. For the experience of having mold problems in our house, the inspections coming back positive for mold still being present in our house and getting it all removed, disinfected and cleaned, being patient, punctual, professional, courteous, polite, kept us well informed and did a wonderful job in getting this project done well and correct. I would give First Class Air & Restoration, their Sales & Project Manager D’Andre Randall and his team an A++ rating. They did a wonderful job from the first contact to the very last moment of a project being done. We can’t thank you guys enough, we really appreciate your hard work. Job well done.

D'Andre and his guys were great. We got our mold remediation test back after buying the house and found that we had a decent amount of mold growth. We reached out to First Class that day and got a response before end of day on a full quote. From start to finish, these guys were very clean, respectful, timely, and helpful. They didn't just remediate the areas outlined in the protocol, they kept cutting until they couldn't find anymore mold because they knew we had to pass and leaving things as they were couldn't stand. The whole project took them 3 days even including the additional work, and we passed with flying colors a few days later when the test came back. There was a small amount of overspray in one of the rooms and D'Andre was very quick about making sure his guys came back out to get it cleaned up so it was a non issue. Overall, the price was very fair, the timing was great, and the guys did a great job.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer discounts to first responders and military.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will take the time to educate clients on the mold remediation process. This process is put in place by TDLR to protect clients. Once a client has a protocol on the mold removal we will provide a quote to complete the job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have completed the years of training and working under other contractors to be able to take training courses for the MRC licenses. We have also passed the TDLR exams that are put in place to hold a license in the great state of Texas. We have done this both in Mold and HVAC. All our workers have completed a required Mold Remediation Workers 4 hour training course. We also have to complete continuing education courses yearly to keep our licenses up to date.
