FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process starts with an initial conversation to understand the client’s project scope, goals, and any existing information such as sketches, PDFs, or reference plans. This helps me define exactly what needs to be developed and identify any missing details early on. After that, I review all the information and provide a clear proposal or workflow outline, including timeline, deliverables, and any clarifications needed before starting. Once everything is confirmed, I begin the drafting process, usually starting with a clean base layout and then developing the architectural plans and details step by step. During the process, I maintain regular communication with the client to share progress and make sure the design is aligned with expectations. I also incorporate feedback and revisions in an organized way to keep the project efficient and accurate. Finally, I deliver the completed drawings in the required format, ensuring they are ready for construction or permitting, depending on the project needs. If required, I also remain available for follow-up adjustments or coordination.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in Architecture with over 15 years of experience in design development and construction-related technical work. My formal education is in Architecture, and throughout my career I’ve complemented that with extensive on-the-job training in infrastructure and building systems. Professionally, I’ve worked across large-scale projects in Latin America and the U.S., which has given me practical training in construction documentation, technical coordination, and design execution. I’ve developed strong skills in CAD drafting and production of construction drawings, including architectural plans, details, and coordination drawings. In addition, I’ve gained specialized technical knowledge through my work in waterproofing systems, tunneling infrastructure, and industrial construction
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started my career in architecture after completing my formal studies in Architecture. Early on, I joined engineering and construction companies where I was involved in technical design and specification work for infrastructure and building projects.
