Fabulous DJ at our wedding. He played the songs we requested and knew the songs that would get the guests up and moving. It's been over two years, and everyone still talks about what a good time they had!

I sincerely enjoyed having JD's Mobile DJ Services. He was very professional, attentive, and accommodating. The best thing about the wedding was he could download any song he didn't have on request. I would highly recommend using this DJ service.

John was the DJ we hired for my daughter's wedding. We had young folks, middle-aged folks, and older folks. We also had a variety of cultures. John's music selection was incredibly excellent. He made the reception memorable & a downright blast. I HIGHLY recommend him for any event.

JD's mobile DJ service is my go to DJ service. I've not only used him for my company events but he also did the music at my wedding. He made sure to structure the music to our liking and made our day even more special than I could image. I will continue to use him for future events.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Our usual charge is fairly competitive in the Houston Wedding market. We provide services at $125/hr of music with our primary sound system consisting of two 15in all range speakers and a 16 channel live sound mixer with one DJ and a great touchscreen laptop loaded with PCDJ Red Mobile, $100 for a dual 12in additional sound system great for ceremonies, $150 for extra sound which includes two dual 12in all range towers and a 15in subwoofer, two 1200 watt amps and an additional sound board, $50 for a great light system including a Red/Green/Blue laser system, $30 for a fog system. Just because we don't have it listed in our prices doesn't mean we can't do it. I will provide any reasonable service I can for you, even if it means pricing a new system and getting you a rental price on it! Never hesitate to call and ask!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I started doing this line of work when I was 13 years old. I used to do karaoke nights at the bar with my Dad and started talking to the DJ/KJ. We became great friends and I worked for his company before branching off on my own in 2009. Can you imagine a 14 or 15 year old kid running your wedding? That is what I did! When I created my own company at 21 years old I began providing live sound, emcee services, music entertainment and other services for weddings, private parties and corporate events like Christmas Parties. I love my job because I get to provide "fun: to a party.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    The trade secrets listed above are the most important thing to know about your DJ. Even if you don't choose us, please make sure you choose a quality DJ for your event. You definitely need it! Your entertainment for the night can make or break the event sometimes. The worst thing I hate to hear about is someone who regrets their entertainment selection because of poor sound quality, a lack of announcements or too much talking by the DJ. Here at JD's Mobile DJ Services we know that your event is all about you and your guests. We will work hard to make sure everyone has fun!
