- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We typically go by the square foot of the area to be insulated, but there are other variables at play. For older homes, we will review the need to review if removal of the current, older or settled insulation needs to be removed. This is typically the case when there have been pest issues. Otherwise, we will review if we can blow in and over the existing insulation. For spray foam, we need clear access to the area.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free evaluation up front. We would love to do an onsite evaluation so we can truly understand your request, but also your situation in regards to advising on proper insulation and ventilation. After a free evaluation we will be able to give you a specific quote on the requested work. If approved, we will schedule you in our next available slot or work out a time that is best for you. It is not a requirement that you are home as long as we can access the work area.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our installers are trained in building science, proper insulation, ventilation, installation techniques from the manufacture, and building codes for our area.
