Splash Water Systems installed a sprinkler and drip system in my front and back yards recently. Bill, the owner, contacted me right away and we scheduled a day/time for him to come to my home and give me an estimate. Once I advised him the next day that I would like to hire his company to install the system, I quickly received a call from his staff and an installation date was scheduled several days later. His crew arrived on time and was able to install the system that day. My system is comprised of 10 zones, 2 of them drip and a Rainbird Automatic Timer with Rain Sensor, so the sprinklers will not come on when it rains, and a back flow pump. I was extremely impressed with the work ethic of all of the employees of this company and I highly recommend them for your sprinkler needs!

Let me start by saying it is very hard to find a person who will stand behind his work, extremely professional, very polite; it is the owner Bill. He was quick to respond, always addressed me with uttermost respect, pricing was great, and as far as the sprinkler work, all good. I did run into an issue with the workmanship on one side of the house; I sent him a text at 8PM, he responded and was there with his crew at 8AM next day to fix the issue. Very hard to find people who will respond in this manner. A company is not only judged by the work they do, but how they respond and react when things go south.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is the quote. I can either just stop by and leave a quote along with a folder containing product information or we can arrange a time to meet and discuss in detail my quote. If we agree on the price then we will call in for utilities to be marked (48 hours required). We usually can schedule the one day installation within 4 days!! At the end of the day I will meet with the homeowner personally and explain the zones and controller operation.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
First started working with irrigation systems in 1982 my first big job was the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas. since then I have worked for large commercial installation companies in different parts of the country but I have been owner and operator of Splash Water Systems in the Houston area for 25 years now.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We do any projects both large and small and I am proud of them all.
