Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We are GAF Certified; an accreditation achieved by only 5% of roofing companies in the DFW Metroplex. We obtained this accreditation by using the highest quality materials while completing every installation with experienced practices that meet or exceed all building codes and manufacturer specifications. Our installations are randomly inspected to verify quality; a requirement to retain our Certification. This certification allows us to offer warranties unavailable through non-Certified installers. This includes a transferable, lifetime warranty that is non-prorated (does not lose value) and covers your entire roof system (shingles, flashing, underlayment, etc.)...not just your shingles. We specialize in all types of roofs: asphalt shingle, metal, stone-coated steel, tile composite shake, composite slate, and nature / true slate. We are insured to $2 million and have 5-Star ratings with Home Advisor. References available, upon request. We are Veteran Owned and Operated We like providing quality above and beyond our customer's expectations. We have the experience to help you get the most benefit from your insurance claim or will beat nearly any offer for any non-insurance repairs, replacements, or new construction installations.

Matt was personally at my home within 2 hours of my initial call. He was up on my roof for over an hours and resolved my storm damage as if it was his own home. I HIGHLY recommend this company and will only use them in the future.

I recently discovered a tear in a vent pipe flashing on our roof that was allowing rain to drip into the attic. With all the rain that was forecast to hit the north Texas area this week, I was in a bit of a panic. I contacted Matt, owner of Taurus Roofing and General Contracting. He said he understood my concern and immediately came out and repaired our roof. We couldn't be more satisfied with the service and quality of work. We will be using his services again and highly recommend Taurus. Thanks for the great service Matt.

Roof Repair or Maintenance

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We offer a full range of services from simple repairs and shingle replacements to full replacements to new construction installations. We specialize in all roof types; both residential and commercial. As a general contractor, we can also perform any other work you may need. If your insurance claim calls for many different "trades" (types of work, typically done by differing specialty contractors, Taurus can handle it all for you. Typical jobs entail roofing, gutters, fencing, radiant barrier insulation, foam insulation tube skylights, attic ventilation systems, and more.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You need a roofing company that is committed to quality, customer service, and integrity. There are many ways that a lesser company will cut corners that may not be noticeable to you as a homeowner or even to a cursory inspector but those shortcuts can and most often do lead to problems later on. Poor installation can lead to leaking and premature roofing system failure. Taurus does it right each and every time, as our Certification, reviews, and references can attest!

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Many folks have wind and hail damage on their roof of which they are unaware or perhaps they are aware but hesitate to contact a roofing company or their insurance company because they are concerned about the cost or that their insurance premiums may go up if they file a claim. If there is enough damage for a viable claim (ask us for a free wind/hail report or inspection by calling 817-205-2232 or email CustomerService@TaurusRGC.com), your only cost will be your homeowner's deductible. You premiums cannot be increased by your insurance carrier for filing a claim since wind and hail are considered "Acts of God" and, therefore, not subject to premium increases on individual homeowners.
