At first I noticed that Zig Zag seemed new to Thumbtack, but they were insured and that gave me some peace of mind and I always like to meet with people before I hire them because you can tell a lot more from meeting someone before hiring them than just going off a number or reviews! Richard responded to my thumbtack job quickly and made time to contact me personally. We met as discussed to review work to be completed and expectations. Upon visual inspection prior to work, Richard pointed out a few things I had overlooked (buried drain lines, sprinkler heads and conduit) and was very helpful. I ordered materials and paid for them, then he met me at Home Depot to help with pick up since they weighed almost 3400 lbs! Richard was a huge help! Every time we have talked he has been honest, professional and punctual. Don’t let the lack of reviews discourage you from hiring this guy! Everyone has to start out somewhere on Thumbtack, but you can tell that this definitely is not Richard’s first rodeo and he has plenty of experience. I’ll hire him again in the future for sure.

Job: repairing a sewer/culvert connection under a gravel parking lot that also developed a hole in the lot due to water erosion underneath. Richard and his crew were great. He responded quickly to my request, scheduled the work to begin within a couple days of me asking, worked quickly, and now that lot looks great with a solid water pipe connection underneath.
