- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I have handled over 7,000 cases in North Texas, including DWI, drug, assault, divorce, and family law cases. I received my law degree from Tulane University and am now an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure at the University of North Texas. I was formerly an Assistant District Attorney and Chief Misdemeanor Prosecutor for Denton County. In 1997 I was voted the Denton County Prosecutor of the Year. I appear frequently as a commentator for various local media newscasts. I am on FOX 4 Good Day regularly, and have also appeared on NBC5s Weekend Today, NBC5 News at Four, and The WB33 News at Nine. I have also provided legal analysis on radio programs, including WBAP, Texas State Network, KRLD, KEGLs The Russ Martin Show and Fox Radio News, WBAP (Dallas Ft. Worth), KTAR (Phoenix), and RTE (Dublin, Ireland). In addition, I hosted Powers of Attorney, a legal talk show on KRLD, and was the resident legal expert and guest host for The Marty Griffin Show heard weeknights on KRLD (2001-2006). I am also frequently quoted in newspapers and magazines, including The Dallas Morning News, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Denton Record-Chronicle and the Texas Lawyer.
