We are truly focused on water treatment installation and repairs. We are licensed plumbers, but our real passion is working on water treatment equipment. We are stocked and ready for all types of water softener repairs. We do sell and install new equipment, but we also repair all different makes/models of water softeners. Many plumbing companies will sell and install new units-but when it comes to repairs they are usually not prepared to do them. This is where we truly stand out in the business. We enjoy being a small business. We enjoy meeting new customers and developing new relationships with them.

Garrett took a lot of time to review and explain options over the phone and in person. The installation of softener and carbon filter went smoothly and the result looks very clean and professionally done. The plumbing now looks much better than what was there. Another plus is that they provide an annual maintenance check while the system is under warranty--I don't recall anyone else offering that, though I didn't ask. I spoke with several vendors and did a lot of research into appropriate options, starting from near zero knowledge. I believe I could have resolved my problem by spending much less to fix my Fleck softener valve, but the recommendations to replace it all and add a carbon filter to screen chlorine made sense, given the age of my system, and the fact that it wasn't appropriately sized for my house anyway. While every installer I spoke with uses Clack products, it is clear that people have different recommendations and plumbing skills. Lastly, Lone Star's pricing was very competitive, which made the choice even easier. While I could think of many more interesting things to have spent this money on, at least I have a system that is new, worry free, under warranty, and will last for years. In the photos, the brine tank is on the other side of the wall because the closet didn't have space for it. I like the rectangular tank because it has a handle on the lid for easy removal. The blue pex on the left wall feeds a hose bibb that I use for car washing with softened water.

We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash as methods of payment. We do offer a 3% discount when you pay by cash or check.

Typically we will set up to do a site visit if needed. We can also give estimates if the customer has pictures of the existing project.
