What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Since I am also a Life Coach, The first session usually lasts about a hour and a half. We review what the client is experiencing, identify the patterns and the original time the pattern was imprinted. then I go over the variety of strategies we have available and how they work. We pick which strategy best suits the client and will bring the quickest results with ease. Very important: I am judgment free.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a first responder (police officer) for a large city in Arizona. After several direct and indirect shootings I developed PTSD. I went through all the normal avenues to alleviate the problem with negative results. I lost my family, I gave up my job and generally felt lost in my life. I did not know which way to turn, who to go to and fell into a deep depression. The medicine prescribed to me create a falls sense of calm but I could not get better. A friend suggested I try Hypnosis. I researched and discovered hypnosis was approved by the AMA back in 1958 and has been used successfully for many things over the years. I found a Certified Hypnotherapist and saw them for three visits. My PTSD was gone. . I was so excited, that I wanted to learn how to do this and so much more for other people. The power of the subconscious mind along with learning new cognitive behaviors made amazing changes in my life and I decided to help make those same amazing changes so that they too could live a life they love to live. In that career though, I saw a lot of good people on the worst day of thier lives and I so desperately wanted to help them, so I began getting certified in a variety of couples coaching techniques. What I learned and have been sharing for 30 years has helped hundreds of cuoples commincate better, rebuild trust, create a new sense of intimacy and passion.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a lot of work with Wounded Worriers, Athletes, Actors, Doctors and just everyday folks. I have a strong appreciation for PTSD and Pain Management, and I get a lot of requests for Confidence, Self Esteem, Motivation, Phobias, and Fear, Anxiety/Stress, Weight loss, Smoking, Auto Immune Disorders and so much more. I have also worked with dozens of clients in creating better relationships using Conscious Communication skills to create lasting loving commitments that bring joy to their lives. As a Transformational Life Coach, I have the ability to help those reaching for their loftiest goals, attain them with clarity and ease.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The most recent is a friend turned client called me to help her stop nail biting. I have know her for over 15 years and knew that she bit her nails down to the skin. She was always embarrassed about it and hid her hands all the time. She had been doing it since she was 7 and was now in her early 50's. Long story short. I worked with her for three sessions....then one day about a month after her last session, she surprised me with a post to my Facebook page showing her newly painted fingernails! She expressed joy when she said she had never gotten to go to a salon before in her life to have her nails done. Sherman was extremely happy and wanted everyone to look at her hands now.
Also, I love seeing couples who come to me after "talk therapy" thinking that all hope is lost only to learn skills that open communication, create mutual respect and ignite a new passion in their relationships.
