Only lesson #1 of 8 is completed but I am already seeing a difference in my dogs. Chris is the only trainer that replied when I stated I had 6 dogs, and all of them have their little issues that I did not know how to correct or deal with. Chris has given me the tools, and I can’t wait to see our final outcome.Jun 28, 2019Verified
Chris really knows dogs and treated all 3 of ours as individuals. The reason I wanted a trainer at first was because my Sammie (Lab mix) was 1 year old and she was thinking she was still a little puppy ( 47 lbs of arms and legs and stubborn will). Walking her was stressful and she went CRAZY at any distraction. Chris taught me, my boyfriend Carlos, AND Sam what to do to get her to be a positive family member. All three dogs listened in different visits and we have the tools to go forward. Defiantly worth the money. Thanks Chris!Aug 7, 2019Verified
Chris is amazing with any personality of dog. I have an extremely stubborn male lab and a very timid female lab and both absolutely adore him. They have made huge strides since they started training with Chris. Not to mention - we have too! He not only trains the dogs but the humans as well!!! We have learned how to communicate with our dogs versus screaming and getting no response. Lol best decision we’ve made is hiring Chris!Jul 12, 2018Perfect Pack Dog Training's reply

very helpful in helping me find my forever working dog!!Aug 8, 2018Verified
I recently rescued 2 puppies that are just under a year. Never having puppies before, I had no clue what was in store for me. Both puppies were out of control and I was miserable. I have completed 3 lessons (with 3 left to go) with Chris and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! Training puppies is a lot of work but with Chris’ help, I have begun to build a good foundation for me and the puppies! Chris’ techniques and training style truly work and are allowing me to enjoy the puppies while keeping them under control. I highly recommend Chris!!!Aug 2, 2018VerifiedPerfect Pack Dog Training's reply
Thank you, Anna! we've been so thrilled to be a part of your journey and can't wait to celebrate the end product with you!!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? All of our programs are Private Lesson based. Dogs are a product of their environment and this means that sometimes we're doing things with our dogs that are accidentally creating or maintaining their issues. I assign homework to owners in between lessons so they don't accidentally undo the progress we're making. Haha For years I did Board and Trains but what I found is that the percentage of dogs that return back to how they were after they return back home, is astonishing. What's even more amazing is when I came for the follow up lesson, the dog began to act right again. The reason? Because the owner doesn't have to become proficient in how to work with their dogs to gain the progress. Since the product was not dependent upon the handling skills of the owner, the environment that was conducive of the problem, recreated it. That's why I'm so big on private lessons. We shifted to private lessons ONLY and saw a DRASTIC uptick in productivity and success. As far as rates go, we have single lessons, and multi lesson packages. For the multi lesson packages we carry a massive discount because we bundle them all together for maximum savings. So instead of billing you the single lesson rate over and over, we squish it into 1 bulk-discounted fee on the front end.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I love talking with people to find out what all we can help with, and understand them and their needs better. Once I've gotten acquainted with this a little more, I can suggest the right package for them. I'm also a little old fashioned in that I like to connect with people.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've gone through countless internships/mentorships, and after 14,000 hours of study, I teach the 5 key secrets I use, to every dog owner we work with! As a Master Dog Trainer, the bulk of my job is to educate you on how your dogs mind works and how to best leverage their state of mind and internal motivation to get them to police their own behavior. That's really what it comes down to. I tell people, all the time, you can do all the "leader of the pacl" work you'd like to. But if you don't simultaneously teach them to enjoy working with you, you're going to lose out. I don't use any treats, intimidation tactics, shock collars, e-collars, etc. Just a leash and knowledge of how mom works with her puppies, and sometimes not even the leash!
