I have worked with Regina Hill, Owner of DHD, as a REALTOR. I’ve also worked along side Regina at the end of a residential remodel job. With Regina’s background in custom cabinetry, her formal education in design, the decades of design experience she has with some of DFWs top architects, her work ethic, eye for detail, and the ability to execute and complete a remodel job is unparalleled. As a REALTOR, we love to see kitchen and bath renovations in pre-owned homes. Kitchen and bath renovations help bring the home owner the highest and best return when it comes time for them to sell. We provide fair and accessible pricing, ensuring that professional design services are within reach for everyone. In our experience, most clients appreciate knowing the cost of our services upfront, which enables us to offer flat fee pricing based on a thorough understanding of the project scope.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An introductory "meet & greet" session is crucial for accurately assessing the project's scope, understanding the client's preferences, and evaluating if the project aligns with the client's desired outcome and budget constraints. It's also an opportunity for both parties to gauge compatibility and determine if we are the right fit for the project. Following this meeting, we will present and discuss our proposal and detailed scope of work, allowing the client to decide if they are prepared to move forward with the project. Upon approval and payment of the deposit, the project commences.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring a unique background to my design practice, having been immersed in a family-owned business from childhood, where I gained hands-on experience in various construction projects. This upbringing has equipped me with a deep understanding of construction and project management that sets me apart from many designers. Additionally, I hold a degree in interior design and possess a wealth of practical experience. Our team comprises a diverse group of individuals, including creative thinkers, skilled woodworkers, engineers, and artisans, with a combined experience exceeding 100 years. We are committed to delivering top-notch quality workmanship, as it reflects our values and ethos.
