I received piano lessons as a birthday gift and have been taking lessons with Susan since last September. She's excellent. She covers the things I don't know in detail and covers things I already know quickly to keep the lessons moving. I especially like the way she emphasizes feeling the music as I play. It's not just hitting the right notes, it's keeping the tempo, accenting the appropriate notes, maintaining the tempo, and adjusting the dynamics. The book that were using is very comprehensive and include lessons, technique, and theory. Its designed for adults, none of the cartoon characters and simple songs my kids experienced when they took lessons. Susan has been very flexible in working with me when work travel conflicts with our weekly scheduled lesson. I look forward to my lessons every week and showing off my progress to my wife. Five stars.

Susan has been teaching two of my girls for several months now and they just love her and have really enjoyed learing how to play the piano. I am very impressed with with her ability to engage young children and keep them interested in learning music. I would definitely reccommend her to anyone needing piano lessons.

Susan has been teaching my son (10) and daughter (7) piano for the past year-and-a-half. I am constantly impressed with how much the children have learned since starting their lessons. Susan is a wonderful teacher who shows genuine interest in her students' growth. She is the perfect professional in time management, attitude, and devotion. We could not have found a better piano teacher.
