FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a new client schedules their appointment with me, I advise them to arrive at that appointment about 15-20 mins prior, in order to fill-out consent forms, go to the restroom & get changed into their spa attire. After filling out their forms, I go over their customer profile with them to discuss the reason for their visit, as well as making sure there are no contraindications disallowing me to go on with their facial "that day". Once all concerns have been addressed & all questions answered, I begin their treatment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 35 yrs of skincare & glamour training with a major cosmetic company, inwhich I taught women how to take better care of their skin using skincare that was specifically formulated for their skin types. In addition, I earned my certification & license in esthetics from Ogle School of Hair, Skin & Nails, then shortly after, went on to manage a mini day spa. I am presently the owner & solo esthetician of a mini day spa, Beautique Day Spa in southwest Fort Worth.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out as a skincare & glamour consultant for a major skincare company for over 35 yrs. Then, after getting laid off & burnt out from Corporate America, I went to beauty school and earned my license & certification to be able to professionally do faces. Shortly afterwards, I managed a day spa for nearly a year. After the owner closed the spa (to pursue "other" interests), I decided to open my OWN day spa where "I" was in control of my OWN destiny, while doing what I REALLY love doing.....and that's helping women feel better.... from the outside, in!
