My name is Angela Jackson-Gallardo, I've been a professional photographer since 2019. I'm the solo photographer for Studio Gallardo. My studio is nature, specializing in natural lighting and documentary style photography, with a splash of editorial thrown in the mix when I'm feeling inspired. I feel most comfortable shooting adventure elopements, engagements, back yard shin-digs, and smaller traditional weddings (up to about 60 people). I have experience planning adventure elopements in Texas, and have a package that includes my assistance to make your dream elopement a reality.

Angela did an amazing job helping us through planning to get all of the shots we needed on our big day. We met two times on video calls and texted several times before the event and she was pleasant and easy to work with the whole time. She even gave us advice on timing different parts of the wedding so we would get good lighting and pictures.
During the actual event, she was early, had everything she needed, and was very professional and patient with some of our guests who were getting in shots we needed. She quickly sent us a sneak peek of the photos which we loved and handed over our edited photos in web and print resolutions very quickly after.
We could not have asked for a better photographer and experience. Angela is a great choice for your event.

Amazing engagementphotos. My fiancé and I did a one-hour session with Angela. She helped guide us and give us direction as we are both normally uncomfortable with taking pictures lol, Turnaround time on editing was super fast as well. Would definitely recommend

We contacted her to come do our wedding photos, she was quick to respond, great on the day of the wedding and very reasonably priced. She showed up earlier than expected and met with me and my wife. She was a pleasure to work with and worked around our off the wall schedule to make capturing the moment perfect. I would highly recommend for anyone to use her and if photos are needed on our end again she will definatly be our first call!!! Thank you again from my wife and me

My honey and I hired Hair of the Dog Photography for our wedding and let me tell you....
We have probably looked at our wedding photos a thousand times and teared up each and every time!
Angela was so absolutely sweet and her work touched our hearts in a way thats so unexplainable!
Knowing that these photos are what we get to put up in our home and look at for the rest of our lives, is the most special gift ever And I'm so forever grateful it was her who captured these moments for my family and I. I really couldn't have imagined hiring a better photographer to do this job!

Angela did such a great job for our family photos! She responded quickly, was flexible, and arrived early to our session to scope out the area. She was prepared with poses, patient throughout the shoot, and turned the photos around quickly. The photos turned out beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Highly recommend!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies based on service/distance :) Message me for more details!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typical process goes a little like this. I'll reach back with availability and pricing for the coverage as soon as I can. Once confirmed, the client will have 7 days to send the deposit to confirm booking. We will set up a phone call to get to know each other, go over the details of the event, and confirm the golden hours. I'll reach out a few weeks before the event, then the day before the event. I'll show up early and hangout late. And the remainder of the payment will be due before the even on the day of. Sneak peaks will be delivered within 48 hours and the full gallery will be sent within 4 weeks.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a graduate of the school of Youtube and asking friends for help! I don't have any professional training, I'm completely self taught, but I do have a degree in Environmental Science from Tarleton State University! Go Texans!
