About

My name is David Bonney, and I started this business to help homeowners in Fort Worth, and surrounding areas, keep their homes in good shape without the stress of hiring multiple contractors. I believe home repairs shouldn’t be complicated, overpriced, or hard to schedule. They should be straightforward, well done, and handled by someone you can trust. I bring years of hands-on experience tackling everyday home repairs and maintenance. From small fixes like replacing fixtures or repairing drywall to larger projects like painting, trim work, and general upkeep, I focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail—no rushed jobs, no shortcuts. What really sets my work apart is how I treat my customers and their homes. I show up on time, communicate clearly, and leave your space clean when the job is done. If I say I’ll do something, I do it. At David Bonney | Home Repairs, you’re not dealing with a big company or a rotating crew—you’re working directly with a local handyman who takes pride in honest, reliable work.

David was great to work with from start to finish. He communicated clearly throughout, worked around a rescheduling on my end, and showed up right on time. I found him trustworthy and fairly priced, and his work was excellent - our backdoor had been sticking and was hard to open, and he fixed it completely; it works perfectly now. So grateful for his help. David will be our go-to for repairs from now on.

David responded quickly to my work inquiry on Thumbtack. He fully understood the job and gave me a fair and reasonable quote. I even added to the job two or three days before the date and he agreed to the additional work at a modest and reasonable increase. Then after he showed up on time ready to work I threw one last curveball to this door and doorbell install and he once again accommodated me at no extra charge. He and his military veteran son completed all work with careful attention to detail, doing whatever was needed until the door, doorbell, door latch and lock, and trim were fully ready for prime time. I’d definitely use them again.

Details: 2 - 5 hours (A few different projects) • Repairs • Installation • Bathroom • Doors • Walls (inside) • Home
