FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I engrave are the ones the customer had no idea of what they wanted. I create gifts that are unique & customized based on conversations with potential customers. Frequently I make cheese & cracker trays from wine or liquor bottles & engrave personalized messages & custom artwork on them. I explain to the customer that when it's not being used it can be placed in a plate hanger & hung on the wall as wall art & a place to keep it from getting broken. These make wonderful wedding gifts that commemorate the special wedding day as well as "Stock the Bar" bridal shower gifts.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I have found that in order to give a customer exactly what they want the key is to learn a little about them & the person they wish to gift or their event. When a service provider does this, everything just comes together & I am usually able to give them even more than they expect. For this reason, I don't usually give a direct quote because my focus is on giving them what they want at a reasonable fee. I am passionate about my work & feel that I project that when talking with customers. I listen to the customer to make sure I understand what they really want & if they aren't real sure I make suggestions based on the information they lend me thru conversation.
