FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A job will be quoted once I have had an opportunity to take a look at it. If your job is pretty straight forward, say you've purchased a garbage disposal and you need the old one removed and a new one installed, and I don't run into problems with your existing plumbing, I would charge the base amount. If I run into other piping that needs replaced or other concerns (when I am under the sink), I will let you know what those issues are and we'd address those on a per job basis. Other jobs can't be quoted over the phone or without seeing the job first.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on what the job is. Once we open up dialog, we will narrow down what you want done. It is likely that I will want to stop by and take a look at your project before quoting or committing to it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a M.S. in mathematics but found that my expertise and interests landed me on the mechanical and architectural side of things. I have a mathematical aptitude that helps me render construction solutions. I’m self taught with years of hands on experience in remodeling and renovations.
