Mark reached out to me when he got his new site up and running. Mark did a whole house remodel for me in Denver about a year ago. I purchased an old house, intended to flip it. When we got into the house, what was supposed to be cosmetic only remodel, ended up being a lot more involved than first anticipated (or budgeted). Old homes have a variety of issues. This house had them all; from foundation issues to every surface needing to be touched, updated, or moved. It was a 6 week undertaking, with Mark on site about 12 hours per day. I can't speak enough to his attention to detail and the amount of work that went into his work. I flip a lot of home. I have hired so many contractors, and honestly none of them provide the level of detail and efficiency as he does. I was extremely disappointing to hear he was moving to Texas to grow his business in that market. If you're looking for QUALITY WORK, not the cheapest price, Mark is your best solution. Since he works alone, seriously does everything himself, he controls the quality of work He also knows the job will be done to his liking and most definitely to mine. Remarkable attention to detail. About three weeks into the project, a friend of mine and I were at lunch. I was telling her about the house. She asked if we could drop by and see it. Once she was in the house, she fell in love, making the decision to purchase it herself. Since I was selling it to a friend, I knew that she would want some "special" finishes, not talked about with Mark. This included two sets of barn doors in the bedrooms, which he custom made and she loved. Here's a list of what Mark did for me in the two bed, one bathroom cottage house. During demo, he removed all the drywall, down to the studs. He moved a lot of plumbing and electrical around to be more efficient and to meet today's codes. We decided to move some wall around to make the space feel larger and more open. The entire kitchen was redesigned, which included moving the original sink placement to another wall. Sounds easy? Moving drain lines of this magnitude is pretty substantial and Mark effortlessly took on the painstaking task of moving the drain about 8'. The kitchen was crazy small, it had a stack washer/dry and the water heater in the kitchen which was to say the least ugly. There were a ton of narrow cabinets, while it seemed like a lot of space, it was not usable as the shelves were about 6" in depth, so it all had to come out. The kitchen entrance was very narrow, he opened the kitchen up by widening the opening to the kitchen from the dining area. New cabinets, appliances, flooring, drywall, texture, paint, lighting, doors, trim (including crown), are just the highlights of what Mark did during this remodel. I am a fan. If you're looking for solid work, honest guy, strong work ethic, with a lot of experience, Mark's your man. Texas, you're lucky to have him.

I first found redoux because I purchased windows treatments from Shutter Shop in The Colony from Mark's other company. I was blown away at my experience with Mark and his team that when I found out Mark did construction and remodeling projects, I was very excited. I asked Mark to bid a couple of projects in my home. The first was I wanted to replace the tile that came with my house in the second bathroom and I wanted two bedrooms painted. Mark gave me a great price. He was on time (of course), he did exactly what he said he was going to do. I love my bathroom update and the rooms now have the perfect color. I highly recommend Mark and his team for any projects you may have. Highly recommend.

Kitchen Remodel
We wanted to remove a wall between our kitchen and living room. Redoux came in and helped us with several cool exposed beam and tiling options as well as building out a pantry. Mark was always on time and easy to work with making this plan become a reality. They did the labor exactly on schedule and our house has a completely different look and feel.

I managed a group of apartments in Denver Colorado. Mark worked for the complex renovating the units as they were vacated as well as kept the units maintained. Mark is professional, knowledgeable, and very trustworthy. Our group never hesitated one second as to his abilities and dedication to getting the job done on budget, timely, and completed correctly. Mark is a gem and I wish him the best of luck with his remodeling and renovation company. He will be missed and not easily replaceable.
Feb 17, 2019Review from GoogleRedoux's replyI miss the group in Denver! It was such a great experience working for you and the cottages. Things are going well here and super busy with renovation projects. Next time I’m in Denver I’d like to catch up.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?A job will be quoted once I have had an opportunity to take a look at it. If your job is pretty straight forward, say you've purchased a garbage disposal and you need the old one removed and a new one installed, and I don't run into problems with your existing plumbing, I would charge the base amount. If I run into other piping that needs replaced or other concerns (when I am under the sink), I will let you know what those issues are and we'd address those on a per job basis. Other jobs can't be quoted over the phone or without seeing the job first.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It depends on what the job is. Once we open up dialog, we will narrow down what you want done. It is likely that I will want to stop by and take a look at your project before quoting or committing to it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a M.S. in mathematics but found that my expertise and interests landed me on the mechanical and architectural side of things. I have a mathematical aptitude that helps me render construction solutions. I’m self taught with years of hands on experience in remodeling and renovations.
