A&J Safety First Inspections is BBB Accredited!! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioenvironmental Science from Texas A&M University. I am serving the greater San Antonio area. I have 10 years of safety engineering experience with General Electric, NASA, Lockheed Martin, and Southwest Research Institute. I'm a native of San Antonio. I found my calling to the safety industry. I have been a safety engineer for 10 years. I have been working for Fortune 500 companies, such as General Electric, Lockheed Martin (NASA), and now with Southwest Research Institute. So, I am no stranger to inspections. I also take pride in helping my community. I was a volunteer fireman for the city of Pearland for 2 years. I received my home inspection training through Champion School of Reality in 2012. Hiring him was a breeze, his assistant was extremely helpful and efficient. Alex got to our new home before we even got there and started inspecting. He was thorough, polite and so informative. We are so thankful he was able to go out there the very next day. We got all the paperwork needed the next morning and now we are on our way to the last few steps of our home buying! So thankful for his work!

Alex and Jose were quick to respond to my request for an inspection on a home we are buying. They stayed right on top of things, emailing and texting me as well as our Realtor to ensure we were all on the same page. They were there earlier than expected and had already been hard at work when we pulled in the driveway. I also asked about a termite inspection and they brought along an inspector at the same time, which saved me the hassle of having to find someone myself. He did an incredibly thorough job of inspecting the home and went over everything with us before we left. He even offered to answer questions we may have after we get into the home. They were very professional and friendly as well. I am glad we went with A&J Safety First for our home inspection!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's Of Science at Texas A&M University, TREC ID 20602, National Electric Code Trained, National Fire Code Trained, etc.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out as a Safety Engineer working at NASA's Johnson Space Center and now at Southwest Research Institute. I've been inspecting facilities for over 10yrs. I've been inspecting residential for 4yrs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Buying a home is a big investment. Know exactly what your buying, by acquiring a home inspection. Don't always go for the cheapest Inspector out there. Make sure the inspector is reputable and puts the customer's interest first. Take a look at the customer reviews.
