Introduction
I am an event planner with over 15 years experience. I was a wedding planner in Seattle Washington for 15 years and recently moved back to Texas. I am in the process of starting my business in East Texas. Since the beginning of January, I have been in charge of various events including a formal private school Auction/Gala for 325 people. I was in charge of the decorations, table decor and hiring the caterer. I was also in charge of the decor and tables for a non profit auction/dinner for 325 people.
I was the chairman of a women's conference for about 150 women. I was in charge of the entire event, including hiring the caterer, musicians, guest speakers, decorations and table decor, publications and announcements to be made. I also coordinated several weddings and a formal birthday party for an 80 year old woman.
Most of these events had very limited budgets. I specialize in finding a way to make events beautiful on a small budget. It takes lots of work and research on my part, but I have been successful at being able to accomplish this task.
I believe you don't have to spend a large amount of money to have an event of your dreams. I have worked in many venues and with many leaders in my community this year and I will supply references upon request.
