Molding or baseboards,
Mr. Jordan is great! He showed up 15 min early and got the job done at a fair price.Jul 21, 2017Verified
Don Jordan is highly qualified to do home repairs. After having had disappointments with other contractors in the past I was pleasantly surprised at his knowledge and expertise. His workmanship, honesty and fair prices made me trust him. I will call on him again when I need home improvements. He does large and small projects. He repaired my back door which had rotting wood both inside and outside. He built a French drain in my side yard where rain water wasn't draining well. He power washed all the concrete and some of the brick at my house. Don actually did more than the things listed above and I am pleased with all his work.Feb 10, 2017VerifiedJordan Handyman Service's reply
Thank you. I enjoyed working with you.
Do not bid on projects he does not know how to do.Oct 11, 2017
Thanks Don for your help on our projects. Don has worked on several projects for us. He's friendly and courteous, explains what needs to be done and the right way to do them. He stands behind his work. You can't go wrong with Don.Dec 27, 2016
I had Don Jordan do some work for me and he was excellent. He came early and went to work immediately. He built some shelves for my armoire and china cabinet. Hung some pegboard in my closets and hung some very heavy pictures throughout my home. He also put some hooks in for my plants outside in my garden. He is a super nice man, a real gentleman and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. In fact, I have already talked to him about other things.Jan 8, 2017
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I did a lot of research on the handy man business and found pricing to range from $50. to $94. per hr. I work on a time and material format. By determining cost and overhead, I set my price at $65. per hr. With a 15% discount to all seniors and handicapped clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will contact the customer to set an appointment for a free estimate. If the client is ready to hire, I may be able to do the work at that time, or we can set up a time for me to return.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a Journeyman Carpenter. I went through a 4 year apprenticeship program. I have been a self employed remodeler for over 40 years.
