FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on the needs and complexity of your business rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Factors can include transaction volume, current condition of the books, services needed, reporting requirements, and the level of ongoing support you’re looking for. We’ll discuss your needs first so we can recommend an appropriate scope of service and make pricing clear before work begins. Our goal is to build long-term relationships and provide meaningful value—not surprise clients with unclear expectations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a conversation about your business, where things stand today, and what you need help accomplishing. From there, we review your current accounting setup and identify any cleanup, bookkeeping, reporting, payroll, tax, or advisory needs. We then recommend a level of service that fits your business and establish a clear onboarding process. Once you’re onboarded, our focus shifts to consistent communication, accurate financial information, and making sure you understand what’s happening in your business—not simply sending reports without explanation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings a combination of professional training, certifications, and hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounting, tax preparation, payroll, and financial management. Our credentials include QuickBooks certification through Intuit and bookkeeping certification through the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB), along with specialized training in areas such as accounts payable and 1099 preparation. Beyond these credentials, The Texas CFO is supported by a team of professionals with varying backgrounds, experience, certifications, and licenses across different areas of accounting and finance. We believe that depth of experience allows us to match the right expertise to each client’s individual needs while continuing to stay current with the tools, regulations, and practices that affect the businesses we serve.
