FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have wanted to be a lawyer since I was a young child and my whole education from Junior high on up was to be a "corporate lawyer for State Farm". I accomplished this goal by age 25, despite being a single mother working full time.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You need to be comfortable and trust your lawyer. It is a long term relationship. Do not settle. Do not go with the "cheapest" lawyer in town. It is very true, you get what you pay for. The good lawyers charge a reasonable fee for their services, they do not try to "low bid" others, they do not need to. Avoid lawyers who track you down at the courthouse, hospital, send you mail unsolicited. You are to pick us, not the other way around. Just trust your gut when looking for a good lawyer. There are a lot of us around!
