Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have been representing clients accused of crimes since 1988. In my 23 years of experience as a criminal defense lawyer (having chosen never to prosecute), I have successfully handled all types of criminal cases including sexual assault of a child, indecency with a child, assaults involving family violence / domestic violence, theft, drugs, DWI, DUI, juvenile, etc. I am experienced with jury trials, appeals, post conviction habeas corpus applications, and pretrial diversion packets, as well as representation in front of grand juries. I can help clients with petitions for nondisclosure and expunctions. I personally handle all of my cases, and when you call me, you talk to me. You will not be pawned off on an associate, left to talk to a secretary, or not be able to reach me. If you hire me, I will work hard for you, and I am very good at what I do. As a result of my many years of experience, hard work, and success, I have the respect of my colleagues, my opponents (prosecutors) as well as the judiciary. Clients have expressed their satisfaction with my services, and you can review their comments, at AVVO.com.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When you are looking for a criminal defense lawyer, you should talk with 3 to 5 lawyers by phone, and schedule in-person interviews with at least 2. Research them on the internet and determine what former clients think of them. Determine if they have held any high positions in criminal lawyer organizations (which would indicate respect by colleagues.) Think about the lawyer's ability to communicate with you - if it is good, then they can probably communicate well with prosecutors, judges and juries. Do they seem to know what they are talking about and can they explain it to you? Talk about the fee and what it includes and does not include (such as nontrial only or trial, too.) Be certain that you can afford the lawyer because you do not want to find yourself in the situation where the lawyer withdraws from the case after you have paid a substantial amount because you cannot pay the balance.
