Life Changing Lawyer ( Atoya Collins) if you searching for a lawyer that is knowledgeable, responsive and dedicated please continue to read. I am not in prison and owe my freedom to this incredible woman.
I was at a critical moment in life, my hope had been destroyed by a public defender that stated prison was the only possible outcome. When I spoke with Mrs. Collins she stated “ We are in this together beginning to end”. After a short period of time she was able to secure an offer of deferred probation. Mrs. Collins also stated “if any obstacles presented themselves along the way she would be there to face them with me”. She provided me with encouragement, guidance and praised my accomplishments. My son is a 2 case felon charged with possession of a weapon and drugs. He initially contacted Attorney Collins for legal representation. He confessed his innocence to me, and I had to take action. Atoya has been honest with me since our first conversation. She worked hard to defend my son with outstanding evidence, to prove his case. She utilized email, texted and called me, as means of communication. Attorney Collins was able to have the weapons charge dismissed. He was also facing a possession of drugs charge that would have revoked is parole and would have given him a 2 years to life sentence in prison. Atoya worked to have this case reduced to a class A misdemeanor. Atoya's legal work ethics, faith, understanding and perseverance should not go unnoticed. I hired Atoya for my theft case. She was very professional and beyond accessible. I had a probation in felony court that was already going on and she advised that the felony court might try to revoke my probation. Sadly this is exactly what happened. I went to jail over a theft case that never should have been filed. I called atoya from jail on Thursday. I wasn't sure if she was getting the calls because the phone kept disconnecting. She actually got them and on Friday the very next day she got my misdemeanor case dismissed and she got the felony motion to revoke dismissed as well even though she wasn't my attorney on that case and I had never paid her a dime. Currently, my probation is reinstate and those cases have been dismissed. I am very thankful that she worked hard and didn't leave me stuck in jail.

I have worked with Attorney Collins a few times and she has never disappointed me. Recently, I was charged with a PCS case that I had a court appointed attorney. Since it takes so long for cases to be resolved, I picked up some other charges. The offer was jail time. Well, I called Ms. Collins and she took over all of my cases. She told me to be patient because she would get these cases worked out. The felony PCS case was dismissed and two of three misdemeanors were dismissed. The last misdemeanor was reduced and it was t/s and no jail time even though the offer was 60 days. I would highly recommend Ms. Collins if you are looking for someone who will represent you and get great results.

I had been charged with injury to a child which is a felony. I had a attorney who I paid but was acting like she was court appointed and nothing was being done on my case. I was referred to Attorney Collins. I called her and from the very beginning she was easy to talk to and told me that she would get my case resolved. Now keep in mind I had been fighting this case for nearly a year before I hired her on August 15, 2021. She immediately start working on my case. Talked to the witnesses and kept me posted all the way through. We had court on September 15th. She talked to the Chief of the court and worked my case felony case out for a 4 hour decision making class and a dismissal which she got on the same day.
