FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My goal is to offer a good product at a reasonable competitive price. Prices are based on prints and the time it should take to do the job. If you have a picture to be restored and want an 8 1/2" x 11" /8" x 10" print the price is $25 for each including the scan and print. If you want a copy with simple edits the Price is $12 plus $2.50/scan. The price is the same for color or black and white. Larger prints are more, both for restoration and simple editing. Please ask about larger prints.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe that the work and price should be upfront. If I quote you a price for a large picture, the largest being 24" x 36", the price is definite and will not change. Larger prints are more detailed and involve more work. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the work, there is no charge until you are happy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Dartmouth college and graduated from Hopkins University in Baltimore. I have been interested in photography and portraits for a number of years and have followed and been fascinated by the technical advancements in the digital era.
