We recently hired Mighty Dog Roofing of West Houston and Katy (Chris Cooper, owner) after storm damage was revealed on our roof. Thankfully, the damage was not major but we didn’t even realize we had damage on both our third-story roof and a lower second-story section. Drone footage/photos were provided. Since we’re in the process of selling our home, timing was critical. Chris responded quickly to our request, came out to inspect the roof, and scheduled the necessary repairs right away.
The work was completed quickly, before our home was listed, and we received the documentation we needed for our seller’s disclosures. His crew was polite, professional, and very considerate while on site. The repairs seem to have been done with great care and quality.
We haven’t had any major storms since the work was completed a few weeks ago, but I feel confident the repairs will hold up well. Overall, a very smooth and positive experience — I would definitely recommend them.

Their pricing was competitive, but what really set them apart was their professionalism and expertise. They were incredibly savvy in walking us through options, answering questions thoroughly, and helping us feel confident in our decisions. Communication was clear and consistent throughout the entire process — no surprises. And differently from at least one competitor, everything they said checked out against my research… unlike others.
They were punctual every single day, respectful, and kept the job site impressively tidy. It’s clear they take pride not just in their workmanship, but in the overall customer experience.
If you’re looking for a roofing company that is knowledgeable, organized, communicative, and fairly priced, I would highly recommend them. They are also a preferred contractor with a top tier company (Owen’s Corning), which was icing on the cake.

Okay. Shopping for a roof can be a taxing experience, you have to deal with pushy (do or die) salespeople, the stress of timing constrictions, and overall pricing options. I am not a roofing expert but I like research, so I did that. Start with Angis and I narrowed down 5 companies. Call and set up appointments. Out of 5, 3 answered, out of 3, 1 gave me and instant quote.
Good ole Josh was on point with our inspection, (I was expecting the bad news with a 75y/o home). Straight to the point and dropped bad news (with pics) to us in a real world manner. He made scheduling and timeline clear and nailed it.
The crew, yes they do show up early in the morning but they were ninjas I didnt hear them covering the landscaping and outer perimeter of the house. But once they start, get out of the way! They work fast and efficient, they completed my home, my catwalk and 4 car garage in one day!
The payoff was the literal curb appearance of my home. My neighbor literally text me when job was done and said "Nice roof by the way, it looks awesome! I bet you guys are thrilled!"
We are, thanks Mighty Dog you guys did real good with Josh!
Don't get me started again on the curb appeal! My home and garage look awesome!!

Josh Cole was wonderful and very understanding about my roof issues. The crew that he sent was also wonderful, they did a Great job. Josh even came by towards the end of the job to ck on the progress. Job was done in a timely matter and all of the debris was picked up. When ever I need another roof I will definitely use Josh and his company.
