FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First and foremost - We work with all of our clients so that they can be represented in court. For criminal matters - our fee is through trial or disposal of the case. We typically request 1/2 down and we will work out a payment plan for the rest. For real estate/probate/general civil matters - we ask for a retainer and then bill the file at competitive hourly rates. For personal injury matters - we work on a contingency fee basis, getting paid only if the client gets paid.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It depends on the urgency and the type of issue the client brings to us. Generally, clients reach us through our main office number, where they will speak to a legal assistant, who will gather initial information. Thereafter, she will schedule a follow up call with me, or I will follow up with the client directly.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father always told me to get an education and find a job where I could work for myself. I chose to go to law school, as the legal profession is one that allows me to have my own firm and devote my time to those who need it the most.
