Ferrari Voice & Piano Studio

Megan Ferrari is a classically trained singer from the Houston area. She has performed in various opera productions with the Moores Opera Center such as The Love For Three Oranges by Prokofiev, L’amico Fritz by Mascagni, and Douglas Moore’s The Ballad of Baby Doe. She has also performed in large choral works such as Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra and Sergei Prokofiev’s Alexander Nevsky with Moores Symphony Orchestra. She has sung locally with Opera Leggera, Houston Symphony Chorus, Operativo Houston, Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Chorus as well as internationally at Boston Conservatory’s Summer Opera Intensive in Valencia, Spain. In 2023, she performed the role of Bradamante in Handel’s Alcina with Operativo Houston. Most recently, she performed the role of Susannah in Corigliano's The Ghost of Versailles with Miami Music Festival. Megan graduated from the University of Houston Moores School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Voice with teacher certification. She is certified to teach music for grades K-12 in the state of Texas and has played piano for over a decade. Megan is also a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. In 2025, she graduated with her Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Literature at the University of Illinois School of Music. In addition to her classical background, Megan enjoys singing and teaching other genres such as: musical theater, pop, and jazz. In her four years of teaching voice lessons and piano lessons, her students have gone to perform all around Houston and have been accepted into TUTS Academy, HSPVA, Houston Children’s Chorus, and Berklee College of Music. When she’s not teaching her students, you can find her performing nationally and abroad or enjoying a latte at a cozy coffee shop!
