David has done several jobs for us. He's always accessible and on time. Does a great job at a reasonable price. I would definitely refer him, and I have done so to my clients and family members.

David does it "right." This is something I find very similar to everything that I do. I live and die by doing things right, even if it takes longer. When you are a professional, meaning you get paid for working on something, you must do it "right." This is like painting the back-side of the fence when no one is looking. When I see that David is following the same model, it gave me the assurance that David is the man for the job. And to be frank, plumbing is not cheap, it's hard to trust someone you don't know, to do work under neath the slab of your house, to run pipes or to break walls; so you have to be really careful in selecting a plumber to work on your house. If you don't, a half-ass minor repair will result with a major leakage in the future. And by that time, who you gonna call? Ghost Busters? So choose carefully. I have a good feeling about David because he built his trust to me over a number of occasions from our meetings. David always call me "sir". I think this goes a long way because it represents professionalism. David pulled a permit for the plumbing, which is the right thing to do. To many others, don't go cheap on this. You need to pay for the permit and get the city inspector to inspect and ensure that the work being worked on your house is correct and up to code. After all, it is your house, it is your investment. Back to David, he always respond to a text or call. There was a time that David showed up and it rained, but he managed to put some good amount of work in, digging the trench, while soaking in the rain. I like that, it just shows responsibility and maintaining your promises in showing up and putting in the work. When the work is complete, David performed a "hydrostatic" test to ensure that there is no leaks. My previous foundation people did not even do that, they skimmed on this and said that they wanted to "save me money". At that time, I did not know what a hydrostatic test is. After speaking to David, I now learned what it is. So do a hydrostatic test, because it is your house. All in all, I'm happy with David's work. I wish him good luck in his future endeavors. If David build this, or has built this, tradition into his business, I have no doubt that he will be successful down the years. After all, in business, you gotta have trust. 9/11/2017, N.V. from Sugar Land, TX.

Hired on Thumbtack

After 6 bids (including 2 excellent plumbers on Thumbtack) for my nightmare 200' sewer line I chose David. The job required digging the trench between a forest of trees and searching for the city's ancient sewer line. It rained. It poured. David was out there in the rain shoveling with 2 helpers carefully covering up the new line so it wouldn't float. Then the tub filled up. Another ancient broken pipe. So he dug under the tub by hand so as not to destroy the bathroom, found the 1940 broken pipe, fixed it and Somehow spotlessly cleaned up the 4' high pile of mud before my renter came home. Then the city suggested fixing the 1940 gas line. Then it flooded again. Then the city's line leaked. All was nasty and somehow he persevered. Everything is inspected and working at last and his bid was very reasonable.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I enjoy meeting new customers in person to discuss what type of work they need done and what deadlines exist. I thoroughly explain all the options available based on their needs and expectations. I want my customers to feel confident that i have their best interests in mind at all times.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been in the plumbing industry my entire adult life. I registered with the State of Texas as an apprentice at the age of 18. When i was 23 I took the Mater Plumber Examination becoming one of the youngest license holders in the state. I now have over 25 years of experience as a Responsible Master Plumber and hold residential and commercial liability insurance.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would tell them to establish a trust and a friendship with whoever they give their business to. You should always feel like a valued customer. Make sure they are responsive to your phone calls and emails. Good communication can alleviate tension and stress when entering a business agreement and build a friendship in the process.
