- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a few pricing packages that I typically work with but I also offer some special pricing packages. I understand that not all businesses are the same and therefore I based it on their business needs. This is why a I don’t quote through a DM or email and why a discover call is super important. When I’m able to understand what the business owner truly needs and what they’re looking to gain from outsourcing their bookkeeping, I am able to provide them with a valuable proposal.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule a 30-45 min meeting by phone, in person or zoom so that I can better understand their business needs. During this call we discuss their business goals, current problems & what they’re looking to gain. I give them a detail description of what I do and how I help my clients. If we both feel that we are a good fit to work together and they agreed to the proposal, they will sign a service agreement that lines out the terms and conditions of my services. If they don’t already QuickBooks online, I will get them set up with an account, obtain access to their business accounts and collect important business documents.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of bookkeeping experience, 2-1/2 years in business and I am also a Quickbooks Pro-advisor. Which means that I passed the tests & met all the requirements required by QuickBooks. I am also part of a large network of financial professionals of bookkeepers, CPAs and legal professionals. So if I ever come across an issue I haven’t seen before, I have a lot of resources in my back pocket that will help me find the answers I’m seeking.
