If youre looking for a cabinet maker who truly understands the assignment, this is it! We couldnt be happier with the results that ATX Custom Cabinets delivered. They built us the most stunning white oak cabinets for our kitchen, with every little detail I envisioned. From start to finish, their professionalism and communication were top-notch. They were also incredibly respectful of my home, they were so accommodating with a few minor requests during the installation process. We will be using them again for future projects!

ATX Custom Cabinets just completed a project for us adding cabinets in our laundry and mud rooms.I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by their knowledge and professionalism from the start. They knew what is usually done and were able to guide my design to make it look very polished. The design process was great and the drawings were very professional. They were able to accommodate some unusual requests I had, including pull-out drying rack drawers and a pull out laundry sorter, as well as a custom closet with electricity for charging our stick vacuum. The installation process went great, and they were even accommodating when I had a last minute add-on request.Overall, my husband and I are super pleased with our finished projects and wont hesitate to contact ATX Custom Cabinets again the next time we have a built-in project.

Billie and Willie did a fantastic job creating and building our wine room. They helped design the cabinet then constructed it to our specifications and connected all the electrical components and lighting. We had another individual paint the unit and he told us that this is very well built and that he was going to have them build some things for his newly acquired home. We dont have any more projects right now but will definitely consider using them in the future if we do.

We hired Billy for a full cabinet installation for our kitchen and bathrooms starting in late July/early August, and the project is still not fully completed. One cabinet door remains uninstalled, and communication has been very inconsistent. My husband has to send multiple text messages and make several calls just to get any updates/response.He required 75% of the payment upfront and the remaining balance on the installation date, which we paid in full. On November 6th, he said he would begin painting and finishing the remaining cabinet door and expected it to be installed the following week or shortly after. We are now towards the end of November with no updates as to when he will be coming to install the cabinet. This has been very frustrating.Response/Update message: Us being outside your normal radius was not an issue during installation, so its surprising for it to come up now and why it is hard to coordinate a time for a cabinet door installation. Simply trying to understand that as we have been very patient with you.Im not sure why you need a projected completion date as you havent provided one for the cabinet doors . If something needs to be stopped on order for your to complete this project that can be of something needs to be moved we can easily do that. so not sure how that would be preventing a cabinet door from being installed. On November 6th, you said you had the doors and would be painting and finishing them so they could be installed next week from Nov 6th or shortly after . We waited to see if installation would happen or if we would receive a text/call from you with an update, because you said you would update us, but nothing. So my husband reached out again and only then learned the work hadnt even started on the cabinet doors.Your work is great and we love the cabinets, but we need a clear completion date.We want this project to be finished smoothly and professionally.
ATX Custom Cabinets's reply
ATX Custom Cabinets (Owner):
Jenifer, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I understand it has been a good while waiting on the final pair of doors, and I apologize for the delay. The main cabinetry installation was completed, and the home has continued through its normal construction and finishing stages during this time.
For clarity, the remaining two doors are already built, and I have sent photos confirming they are ready. I simply need time in my schedule to complete the painting and installation. The home’s construction timeline is not holding up my work, and I remain committed to returning and finishing this final detail for you.
Regarding the deposit, my standard RTA policy is a 60% deposit with the remaining balance due upon installation of the full order. This is outlined in my contract and differs from the 75% mentioned. Final payment is associated with substantial completion, and small pending items—such as two doors—do not prevent the kitchen or bathrooms from being fully functional in the meantime.
I also want to acknowledge communication. I do return messages as soon as I am able, especially when I am driving or working in the shop during the day. At times I receive several calls back-to-back, but I make every effort to reply safely and promptly when possible.
This project is located in Burnet, which is outside my normal operating radius from Hutto. I continue to serve long-distance clients, but scheduling an additional trip requires coordinating availability on my end as well. To help me plan the most efficient and timely return, I would appreciate a projected date for when the interior construction work at the home will be finished, so I can align my trip appropriately and ensure everything goes smoothly on my end.
I appreciate your patience, and once the final doors are painted and installed, I hope your experience with the completed project reflects the quality and care that I aim to provide.
