Effects for the sake of razzle-dazzle is generally counter-productive. I can give you what you want, but I'll suggest better alternatives if they are available.

We had a very important video production to be done a memorial service. We researched videographers in the Seattle area where it had to be shot. We then hired the two best picks to better ensure that the critical shoot would be done well.
Returning to California with the raw video files, we then had to address the other important factor required to produce an impressive video: the editing of the multiple clips as necessary to end up with a high quality final production. Two of us have quite extensive skills shooting and editing photographs, but video is much more complex. Amateur videos are increasingly showing up everywhere, but the skills needed for a final polished production require an editor with the experience, and a commitment to professional quality results. This is a task that can produce great results if done by a professional who applies the proper effort and creativity, or it can be crudely stitched together by a video editor who might even charge a higher price for a quick and dirty job.
But knowing that we were not restricted to videographers in one area for the editing as we were with the shoot (as the files can be sent anywhere), we were free to search the country on the Internet for the video editor that would deliver the best combination of quality and price. We ended up sending the files to Chuck Arnett Video Editing Services in Kona, Hawaii, who spent many years editing videos broadcast on TV.
Chuck was very professional in every way right from the start. While others responded quickly with high and low quotes knowing few details regarding the job, Chuck took the time to thoroughly question us as to our goals, desires & preferences for the project, before making his offer to create an excellent production for an excellent price. After sending him the files, he made the process easy. More and more, it seems that people, even when you are a customer paying them a substantial amount of money, convey that they can only give you 10 minutes, or even less, of their time. But Chuck was willing to take as much time as necessary to communicate with us regarding the details of what we wanted to see in the final video, until the project was finished. He definitely showed a sincere desire to fulfill our desires for the end result.
Chuck really has gone above and beyond in his commitment to deliver a great video at a great price. He took the footage from the two videographers shooting the event, seamlessly integrated the best video & audio from the two, and performed color corrections & audio enhancements to the parts that turned out poor during the shooting. He also added appropriate text to the video. Plus, he went the extra mile by researching and locating photos, all of which fit in perfectly with the rest of the content where he inserted them, significantly enhancing the video. He created a video work of art that will be appreciated by many people for many years to come.

We hired Chuck to edit and compile our wedding video from raw footage we had friends shoot. I cannot express to you how impressed my husband and I are with the final product. Chuck did a phenomenal job compiling the footage (that was rough) into a beautiful final product. I know we will treasure watching this for many years. The transitions between still photos and video and also the music overlay are perfect. He captured us, our style and this special event in such a memorable way. We are forever grateful to him. Chuck was also extremely easy to work with and very accomodating. His responses to questions and requests were always prompt and in language that was easy for us to understand. If you are considering Chuck for your own project we cannot express how highly we recommend him enough.

I was very happy with Chucks services in producing our video. We had some specific ideas as to what we wanted. Chuck not only followed through with them, he enhanced it with his ideas that pleased us very much. As an artist, and a job as a division manager in Medford Oregon that gives me the opportunity to evaluate multiple works of art every day, I have a great appreciation for great creativity. And Chuck seems to have it down in the complex field of video editing.

We were working on an education advocacy campaign in Kona, Hawaii, and Chuck recommended that we record some of the messaging into short segments and make this available on our website. Chuck took the time to learn about our message and developed key questions. In an interview style format Chuck asked the question and recorded the answers.
From a one hour period of taking raw footage, Chuck produced 3 excellent information videos that effectively communicate information clearly and very effectively.
Chuck went way beyond the expectations. In the comments when I referred to other school districts, schools, or legislation (even from other countries) Chuck took the initiative to research, find and insert images and the respective web links to verify the statements made.
The work was completed ahead of schedule, and everyone was very pleased with the quality of the work. I have had numerous comments and emails.
Chuck's work is professional quality, and beyond anyt work we have experienced. I am returning to Hawaii in a few weeks and look forward to discussing with Chuck a new project.
