First and most important, *Please take a minute and read the whole review. Then share with any friends that may be seeking such help, as well as people you may know that could be giving them referrals.* First and all important I contacted him (Gregg Whitley) and made sure of his availability I explained in detail the job I needed done, I WAS VERY CLEAR that this move was time sensitive, I sold my home under a quick sell agreement, and I could be held in breach of contract if I was not out and able to turn the property over on the closing. 5/8. I have a documented text library of our agreement for his assistance with a move out in several different increments. He told me he had assistance to safely move my belongings. The first job, he arrived 2 hours and 40 minutes late, saying he had to stop and get gas and air in a tire. And had his wife, stating that his help didn't show up, The next scheduled job he texted at 2:15 he's was on the way for a 2:30 appointment. He never arrived. Despite text and calls he refused to respond, then sent a text at 6:50 that evening saying he had vehicle trouble. When I ask why he just didn't answer my text or calls he said he had spotty service. (Not truthful in the city no area has any problems) so he was either no where near my town, or just outright lying. The job was stacked for the last 2 days I had left, he arrived late Saturday morning. He had flat tires on his dolly mover, he had not even prepared. I went and purchased 28$ worth of fix a flat for his equipment. He never offered to pay or deduct it. I went and got cool drinks since the fridge was out already. They did not follow through with very specific directions about each trailer full, even having printed directions. There was an additional stop to drop off things about 4 miles from the first spot, and they paid him additionally for a set of full size mattresses and a refrigerator. It was about lunch time after they had not returned in 2 hours and still had the remaining furniture and appliances to go to storage. They made the one trip to the unit, returned to get payment which I paid at the end of every job. Supposedly they had not eaten all day, so I then ordered $30 worth of pizza for them to pick up and eat on the way home. So I paid $30 more a hour than the quoted printed price, because of the now stressful rush to get done. This plus $58 extra as mentioned. They were set to arrive back the next morning at 7:00am, it had stormed early Sunday am and the power was out, I texted them at 6:00 to wait until the power came back on. It was on by 8:30. I called, texted repeatedly since I had received absolutely no response the entire morning. I had a house full of boxes and the living room and small pieces of bedroom furniture, TV's and small outside items. I also told them that in addition for the days pay, an offered bonus for getting it done on time. They offered and verified the agreement to return and collect all the junk items left, including nice things left from estate sale, that they could keep anything or all and resale, or donate it to Hopes Closet . This was the final thing left and I was going to pay a completely separate fee. They never showed up, texted or answered over 30 calls throughout the day. I had to scramble gather family, neighbors and then had to hire a junk removal service costing a un-expected additional fee of $350. For the 1-1/2 days approximately 9 hours I paid him $650, his listed fee is $40/hour I paid $72 and provided extras, both because I try to give credit to hard working people it's hard enough to make living, but also to continue to convey that by contract I had to have my home ready for a final walkthrough at 6pm Sunday evening for Monday's closing. We did not have everything quite done but when they found out the paid movers failed to show up, they we very decent people and just ask that it be done. I guess they knew we wouldn't be leaving mounted TV's and things needing special handling. If you hire these guys, be sure you have a back up planned and that you are supervising them at all times. They helped themselves to some small items, yard hoses and such. For this reason we have an appointment to view the storage unit security tapes since after the first load they went alone and I need to be sure everything was taken off the trailer and placed in the unit. I'll update anything if needed, as well as any need for law enforcement assistance. This only turned out ok because I had family and friends drop everything at the last minute and save me. It's now 2 days later and I still have not heard a single word from them. We passed unprofessional all the way to just unscrupulous and with no presence of self respect or pride in the business they say they are the sole proprietors.
