Introduction: Hello, my name is Rene but everyone calls me Tres. Here at Spartan Strength Training I take our work seriously and my only goal is to get you the results you need. That means challenging, integrated workouts involving many different forms of training (where necessary): weight training, conditioning drills, powerlifting, balance training, speed drills, plyometrics, stretch work and many other techniques to help you get the results you desire. I do not take one single workout approach and apply it to everyone. Every person I work with is unique. That means every person I work with needs a unique workout tailored to their unique personality, their unique ability level, and their unique goals. I am not only there to push my clients, I am there to support, motivate and educate as well. I care about what we do and it shows in our training and in the results experienced by my clients. I truly enjoy helping people better themselves. It's very rewarding to see someone hit their goals and even surpass them! **My studio is located on my personal acreage. I have trained at this location since 2013. I do a mixture of indoor and outdoor training (depending on the weather) if you would prefer we meet at another location please ask me in advance as I will kindly do so**

I have not been working with Tres long, but he definitely knows what he’s doing! I’m preparing to run a couple of Spartan races but also am wanting to lose some weight. He is making sure I get a wide variety of workouts in to help with both of those objectives. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is wanting/needing a personal trainer!

I have been with multiple personal trainers throughout the years and can 100% say Tres is above and beyond any trainer I have worked with. I've been working out with him for the past 2 months now and already look and feel better. He is very professional and takes the time to work with you in the gym and even sets up workouts outside the gym for you as well. Plan on staying with him until the end! I would HIGHLY recommend him for anyone looking to improve their fitness and health. Patrick

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    My process for working with a new client is listening to what goals they want to achieve. Also if they have any post injuries or pre-existing illnesses. I then proceed to design a workout specifically for that client.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a NFPT personal training certificate. I am also CPR/AED certified. I have had both of these since 2011.
