- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies widely based on the clients needs. Hourly rates for quick fixes range between $65-$150 an hour depending on what needs to be addressed. Pricing for pieces that need to be reupholstered vary widely and is entirely based on what fabric is needed and what furniture needs to be reupholstered.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I set up a free consultation with the client and meet them where the furniture is located. I bring sample fabric at the clients request so that the client can picture what they want in real time where the piece is located. It helps the client realize the furniture potential in the room or background that the piece sits.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in Business with a minor in Marketing. I interned for 3 years at Next Door Upholstery in Shreveport, LA. I am also certified to reupholster furniture and boats at Tarrant County Community College.
