- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I consider how much I need to make per hour, the general pricing per square foot, I consider the difficulty if it requires skills across several media, my travel, and complexity of the work situation. I consider how much of my materials I have to replace or special tools I'll need to purchase. I consider my customers budget and try to work with that as much as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to educate the customer as much as they like. I think empowering them is best practice. I like to see their job and get to know them and whether they are trustworthy and realistic.
